Sudden, unwelcome changes happen in everyone's life; no doubt you've had your share already. Perhaps you're in the middle of one right now, and there are almost certainly more to come.
This would sound pretty negative if it wasn't for the fact that traumatic and challenging experiences can be the catalysts to a better and more fulfilling life.
This doesn't just apply to some people - it can work for everyone, including you, once you know how. Turning Points offer a range of products and services to help you develop your ability to make lemonade out of the lemons life gives you.
We call this turning SUCs (Sudden Unwelcome Changes) into SUCCESS.
We're not just talking about little insignificant changes, but the really big ones, like the loss or death of a loved one, being seriously injured in an accident, losing your job or any other event that you could imagine. Like a beautiful lotus lily emerging from murky water, you can create a rewarding life following even the most extreme life change.
Most self-help publications stress the importance of grieving after a major loss or change, but many don't go far enough. Unless we complete the whole process we can find ourselves stuck in the mire where life seems as if it will never again be as good as it was before.
The Turning Points 7-stage model covers all of the steps people need to pass through after a major life change, in order to recover completely and create a fulfilling life. You can also prepare for the future by building your ability to respond creatively to major life change.

Time to show-off my blog to Lizzie who actually came to do some e-baying.

Dead Sisters

My sister committed suicide on 23/07/93. My life, and that of the rest of the family will never be the same. Was it , as was stated by her treating physicians, AFTER her death, due to Porphyria (The Madness of King George, Princess Margaret, "Royal Disease"). Only genetic testing can prove it, one way or the other.

My friends' sister was murdered by her religious nutter of a brother-in-law and their two children. (Featured on 60 minutes last year.) She received compensation, but has spent every cent and more on legal appeals to prevent the family from proffitting from their crime. They , of course, get free legal aid, to which there seems no limit. Should the public purse be abused in this way?

Daughter Kate

Daughter Kate with Pics! (I hope!!)

Kate caught the bus into London and who sat next to her!!

Greenvale, outback qld, paradise for over 60's

« Hello world!
GREENVALE, Outback Qld
How amazing to start a whole new life, AFTER the age of 60! I now OWN my own 3 bedroom brick and tile house on 900+sm. After a lifetime of hard work, health issues and the tragedy of losing my younger sister to suicide, I now have the perfect life! Work as a volunteer two days a week in the Post Office, get clever books sent up from the Charters Towers library and can go to the swimming pool, 3 days a week. My dear cat Nancy just turned 17 on Xmas Day, and my daughter Kate is still enjoying, living and working in London. She is looking forward to a second trip with her father, Lynn, riding BMW motorcycles through the Alps.

After the tragic suicide of my beloved younger sister, I co-authored a self-help book "Turning Points - Regaining joy after Loss". Its 15 years since then, so you could say I practised what I preached.

Nancy Cat turns 17!

Nancy turned 17 on Xmas day! She is still VERY bossy, but the most 'talkative' cat I have ever known. Even my daughter Kate and a couple of friends, can pick her different 'words'. She even 'swore' at Pam when she asked her if she (Nancy) was going a bit senile! We love our life in Greenvale, Outback Qld.

Lupus Blogs

extract from "The Mad Goat Lady" blog that I replied to

:Bought your book “The Sun is my Enemy” years ago when I was first diagnosed with Lupus. I refused the steroid treatment, and using my own methods, got a lot better. My ana dropped and then I was ‘faking’ it. See questions sent to WA Lupus :
I have variously been diagnosed with :
Mixed connective tissue disease
Chronic fatigue
Lupus
(Attention seeking)
All due to wildly varying ANA numbers. A few months ago I had my highest reading ever ie >2560.
However, a test two weeks later was 40.
We only have The Royal Flying Doctor clinics every fornight, so I accepted her dismissal of previous diagnosis due to the normal 40 result.
I have , for the first time in years, now been swimming, albeit wearing a large hat. I am now starting to feel the ‘heavy’ ache in all my cells, that I have not felt for years. Used to respect the ‘The Sun is my Enemy’ , theory.
Have you heard of ‘intermitent Lupus’, or as I call it ‘fake lupus’?
