Robert Frost Poetry

THE PASTURE

I’M going out to clean the pasture spring;
I’ll only stop to rake the leaves away
(And wait to watch the water clear, I may):
I sha’n’t be gone long.—You come too.

I’m going out to fetch the little calf
That’s standing by the mother.
It’s so young,It totters when she
licks it with her tongue.
I sha’n’t be gone long.—You come too.

Kate and Arek go Outback

Well, I convoyed with the coppers to the Mt Surprise turn-off and continued to Innot Hot Springs. Had a wonderful soak for about an hour when Lynn, Kate and Arek arrived. Shortly there after, Trish and Clive. Lynn had to go but the 5 of us had a lovely few hours together. Kate wasn't feeling too good, and slept all the way home. Very bad night for all, so it seemed the best for them to head off to the Medical Clic in Mt Garnett. Unfortunenately the car doesn't go more than 100klms per hour and only 40klms up hills. Took them 3 1/2 hrs to get to Mt Garnett. Allin all 6 hours to Kuranda.
